Jewish journalist Antony Loewenstein is a number one voice amongst Australian Jews talking out in opposition to Israel’s navy assaults in Gaza. However he has been known as a traitor by many within the Jewish group.
“I’ve been known as a self-hating Jew, a traitor and worse,” says the best-selling creator. “I’m so offended with what’s taking place in Gaza that I cannot keep silent.”
Loewenstein is outraged by the rising demise toll in Gaza and rejects any suggestion the Israeli navy marketing campaign is important to make Jews protected. “It’s truly making us extra unsafe. And till Palestinians are protected and safe, Israelis by no means will likely be, and Jews by no means will likely be,” he says.
Though some Australian Zionists see activists like him as a hazard to the Jewish group amid rising anti-Semitism over the struggle in Gaza, Loewenstein is not going to cease talking out, regardless of receiving demise threats.
