Former President Donald Trump hilariously responded to Sen. Mitch McConnell for endorsing him by asserting that it “should have been a painful day for him.”
Trump additionally vowed to work on “getting rid” of the Kentucky senator, who he referred to as a “shame.”
The Republican presidential nominee made the remarks throughout a rally in North Carolina on Sunday.
“They acquired trillions and trillions of {dollars},” Trump stated, referring to Democrats. “Hopefully, we do away with Mitch McConnell fairly quickly as a result of he helped them.”
“Are you able to imagine he endorsed me?” Trump requested, drawing laughter from the gang. “Boy, that should have been a painful day in his life.”
Trump added, “He offered the mandatory votes. What a shame.”

Because the Gateway Pundit beforehand reported, McConnell attacked Trump and Senator Rick Scott simply two weeks out from the 2024 presidential election.
McConnell asserted that the “MAGA motion is totally incorrect” and that Ronald Reagan “wouldn’t acknowledge” the get together right now.
