    Venezuela’s Opposition Leader, Maria Corina Machado, Is Freed After Being Detained

    Venezuela’s widespread opposition chief, María Corina Machado, was freed on Thursday afternoon after a quick detention by adversaries throughout an antigovernment protest in Caracas on Thursday, according to a statement on X by a political aide.
