Robert Kaproth, a senior US Treasury official, stated in a Thursday assembly with Vietnam’s deputy finance minister Cao Anh Tuan that the nation should take measures to fight unlawful transhipment and different kinds of commerce fraud, Vietnam Information Company reported on Friday.
Tuan requested Kaproth to assist facilitate Vietnam’s imports of American high-tech merchandise, as a part of their efforts to slim the commerce deficit, which exceeded US$123 billion final yr.
