    United States President Joe Biden has pardoned his son Hunter forward of his sentencing on gun and tax convictions regardless of a earlier pledge to not use his presidential powers to grant him a reprieve.

    Biden mentioned on Sunday that his son had been “singled out” and “selectively, and unfairly” prosecuted on account of his household title.
