    WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump stands behind United States Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth, White Home spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt stated on Monday (Apr 21), after reports that he shared details of a March assault on Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis in a message group that included his spouse, brother and private lawyer.

    The revelations that Hegseth used the unclassified messaging system Sign to share extremely delicate safety particulars for the second time come at a fragile second for him, with senior officers ousted from the Pentagon final week as a part of an inner leak investigation.
