The US greenback has been in gradual decline for round a decade – so says Kenneth Rogoff, Harvard professor, and former chief economist of the IMF. Rogoff joins Martin Wolf to debate how the decline of the greenback might empower China, capital flight from the US, and why cryptocurrency is an even bigger menace to greenback hegemony than most individuals realise.
