    Taiwan closes exploding pagers case, says not made by Taiwanese firms

    TAIPEI: Taiwan on Monday (Nov 11) mentioned it had closed a probe into pagers that exploded in Lebanon in September and triggered a lethal blow to Iran-backed Hezbollah, saying no Taiwanese residents or firms have been concerned.

    Israeli media reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed duty for the assault throughout a cupboard assembly, telling ministers that senior defence officers and political figures have been against the detonation of the pagers however that he went forward with the operation.
