That’s how I felt about President Joe Biden and Democrats as they spent billions to ship extra weapons to Israel to bomb and starve individuals residing in Gaza. My calls had been ignored. Democrats and Biden implied individuals essential of this terror had been antisemitic or dupes for antisemites. Protests by college students and academics on American campuses, typically led by alliances of Jewish- and Palestinian-Individuals, had been demonized — by Democrats and Republicans.
This paved the best way for Trump’s assaults on universities and anti-constitutional arrests of individuals for protected speech justified to “combat antisemitism.” Sen. Murray desires to cease unlawful acts, however, when members of the Division of State mentioned extra navy support would violate the Leahy Legal guidelines supposed to cease us from abetting warfare crimes and genocides, she nonetheless voted in opposition to Sen. Bernie Sanders’ Joint Resolutions of Disapproval to attempt to cease navy assist.
