    Pope Francis, the primary Latin American chief of the Roman Catholic Church, died on Monday (Apr 21) on the age of 88.

    The Vatican introduced his loss of life on Monday, stating that the pope had died at his residence within the Vatican’s Casa Santa Marta.

    The Argentine pontiff had been recovering on the Santa Marta guesthouse. He was hospitalised for 5 weeks earlier this 12 months with life-threatening pneumonia. Whereas in hospital, he nearly died twice.
