SEOUL: North Korea mentioned on Saturday (Feb 15) that the USA ought to abandon navy threats if it has issues about its mainland security, state media KCNA reported, citing an official at North Korea’s defence ministry.
The KCNA report cited the top of US Northern Command not too long ago commenting on North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missiles’ (ICBMs) functionality of reaching the US mainland.
The report mentioned it was the US that was partaking in confrontational behaviour akin to planning battle workout routines with South Korea and sending a nuclear submarine to the Korean Peninsula.
It’s North Korea’s sovereign proper to enhance its self-defence energy, the report added.
