Luka Doncic doesn’t perceive the place the animosity from his former boss is coming from.
Dallas Mavericks GM Nico Harrison has been vocal about his causes for buying and selling Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers. It’s centered on a three-word philosophy that’s been a lot maligned by followers since he first talked about it in February: Protection wins championships.
Harrison repeatedly mentioned the road whereas getting grilled through the Mavericks’ controversial “closed-door” meeting earlier this week.
In a current interview with ESPN’s Malika Andrews, Doncic was requested to touch upon Harrison and his agency perception that Doncic just isn’t a championship-caliber participant.
“It’s simply unhappy, the way in which he’s speaking proper now,” Doncic instructed Andrews. “I by no means say something unhealthy about him. And I simply need to transfer on. The followers, my ex-teammates at all times preserve it exhausting. However it’s time for me to maneuver on.”
