Justin Allgaier swept the levels and held off a JR Motorsports teammate in Connor Zilisch to win Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Collection race at Nashville Superspeedway.
Allgaier led 101 of 188 laps within the Tennessee Lottery 250 en path to his third win of the season, his second at Nashville and the twenty eighth of his Xfinity Collection profession. Allgaier is now tied with Austin Hill for essentially the most wins within the Xfinity Collection this season.
Allgaier took the lead with a three-wide transfer on the ultimate restart and held off Zilisch earlier than driving away into the Tennessee sundown.
The win comes every week after Allgaier suffered a heartbreaking loss at Charlotte in additional time.
“These guys right here deserve this one,” Allgaier instructed CW Sports activities. “I screwed them over final week by making a pit name. There isn’t any cooler feeling than a win.”
