Hours after studying of his father’s passing, Winnipeg star ahead Mark Scheifele performed in Recreation 6 on Saturday evening, a 2-1 time beyond regulation loss to the host Dallas Stars that ended the Jets’ season within the Western Convention semifinals.
Scheifele was within the penalty field when Dallas’ Thomas Harley scored the game-winning aim 1:33 into time beyond regulation, having been referred to as for tripping with 15 seconds left in regulation.
