Israel is increasing its unlawful settlements within the occupied West Financial institution whereas it wages its battle on Gaza.
Israel says it plans to construct 22 new unlawful settlements within the occupied West Financial institution – the biggest quantity permitted to be constructed at one time.
Far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich says the settlements are meant to dam the creation of a Palestinian state.
In the meantime, the Israeli military continues its expanded offensive, destroying houses, roads and amenities, comparable to waterways and hospitals, primarily making areas of the occupied West Financial institution uninhabitable.
And settler violence towards civilians, together with destroying crops and uprooting bushes, is at an all-time excessive, in line with the UN.
Europe has hit again towards the transfer to construct extra unlawful settlements by threatening sanctions. However can they’ve an actual influence?
What does this imply for tens of millions of Palestinians? And is a Palestinian state now turning into almost not possible?
