    Iran says hopes for nuclear talks without ‘political pressure’

    TEHRAN: Iran stated on Monday (Nov 18) it hoped talks on its nuclear programme could be carried out “away from political stress and issues” forward of a UN nuclear company board assembly this week.

    “All our efforts and our emphasis in our talks have been to permit the Worldwide Atomic Vitality Company to do its technical work away from the harmful and evil pressures of some events,” Iran’s overseas ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei informed reporters in his weekly press convention.

    Company chief Rafael Grossi travelled on Wednesday to Iran for talks with high officers, together with President Masoud Pezeshkian.
