Dozens of anti-ICE protesters have been arrested after tearing down limitations arrange across the U.S. Capitol and sitting on the steps outdoors the U.S. Senate.
Per CNN:
A gaggle of roughly 75 protesters had been demonstrating peacefully on the Supreme Courtroom, simply throughout the road from the US Capitol, in accordance with an announcement from the Capitol Police. Because the group was leaving the realm, officers started establishing a fringe of motorbike racks to maintain the protesters away from the Capitol.
“A number of individuals pushed the bike rack down and illegally crossed the police line whereas working in direction of the Rotunda Steps,” the Capitol Police stated. “Our officers instantly blocked the group and started making arrests.”

In line with one clip on social media, the group consists of veterans, “demanding that the federal government take navy off of United States streets.”
They are often seen sitting on the Capitol steps, holding a banner that reads, “Vets Say Army Off Our Streets.”
