    Free press: Bezos caves in

Re: “Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos says opinion pages will defend free market and ‘personal liberties’ ” (Feb. 26, Nation):

Amazon peddler Jeff Bezos has now restricted what can go into (his) Washington Put up’s opinion web page. Apparently caving in to President Donald Trump’s want for no criticism, he’s limiting entries to free markets and private liberties, no matter that may imply.

When Bezos purchased the paper, he was in favor of a free and open opinion web page, however since then he’s caved in to Trump’s threats of lawsuits towards information media that report negatively about him. Or maybe it was his aim all alongside?

“Democracy Dies in Darkness,” as The Put up’s slogan goes, and it’ll die with Trump’s blessing.

It’s an enormous change from the times of the Pentagon Papers, printed by The Put up. Katharine Graham is popping in her grave.
