    Syria’s Alawite stronghold sees days of lethal violence between al-Assad loyalists and safety forces.

    Safety forces in Syria are battling gunmen loyal to deposed President Bashar al-Assad within the nation’s coastal area for a second day, with dozens of individuals reported killed within the combating.
