The proposal earlier than the Seattle Metropolis Council to contract for as much as 80 kiosks with flashing screens is an abomination. These 8-foot totems will dominate their environments with visible air pollution, commodifying what we’re compelled to see. They’re nothing greater than street-level billboards that don’t have any place within the vistas of our beautiful metropolis.
