    DeepSeek-Nvidia chips: Singapore says it expects companies to comply with its laws

    SINGAPORE: Singapore mentioned on Saturday (Feb 1) that it expects US corporations to stick to each US and Singapore legal guidelines in response to studies that intermediaries in Singapore have been concerned within the unlawful motion of Nvidia chips to China.

    SINGAPORE’S RESPONSE

    In a press release on Saturday, Singapore’s Ministry of Commerce and Business (MTI) repeated Nvidia’s assertion and said the nation’s place as a global enterprise hub.

    “Nvidia has additionally said that there isn’t any purpose to imagine that DeepSeek obtained any export-controlled merchandise from Singapore.”

    The ministry mentioned it expects US corporations to adjust to US export controls and Singapore’s legal guidelines, including that Singapore’s customs and regulation enforcement companies would proceed to work carefully with their US counterparts.
