To the editor: Again when my now 30-year-old son was a youngster, he and I went to Magic Mountain for a day of curler coaster driving. As we ready to get on a trip, the road was held and from the opposite aspect of the platform, a really shy-looking James Gandolfini, together with two younger boys, had been seated on the coaster first (“James Gandolfini [and Tony Soprano] would have hated this biography,” April 28). We had been then seated on the very entrance, a pair rows forward of him. It was a wild trip and I may hear Gandolfini behind us laughing and screaming like a little bit child. We noticed him later a pair occasions within the park simply being an unassuming dad, wearing dad garments and a rumpled sailor hat. I completely loved him as an actor, however the picture I’ve of him from that day is the one I’ll at all times bear in mind.
