President Trump took Justin Trudeau to process after the Canadian Prime Minister attacked the President’s sweeping tariffs on imports from Canada.
Trump’s 25% tariffs on Canadian and Mexican imports went into impact at midnight.
Trudeau responded by imposing a 25% levy on billions of {dollars} of US imports and extra tariffs shall be imposed by the top of March.
On Tuesday, Trudeau delivered remarks at a presser on Parliament Hill in Ottawa and ripped President Trump for imposing tariffs.
“I wish to converse first, on to the American folks. We don’t need this. We wish to work with you as a buddy and ally and we don’t wish to see you harm, both. However your authorities has chosen to do that to you. As of this morning markets are down and inflation is about to rise dramatically all throughout your nation. Your authorities has chosen to place American jobs in danger on the hundreds of workplaces that succeed due to supplies from Canada or due to shoppers in Canada, or each,” Trudeau stated, flanked by Overseas Minister Melanie Pleasure and Minister of Finance and Intergovernmental Affairs Dominic Leblanc.
Trudeau accused Trump of harming American nationwide safety.

Trudeau disrespected President Trump, known as him by his first identify, and stated that imposing tariffs was a “dumb factor to do.”
“Now, it’s not in my behavior to agree with the Wall Avenue Journal, however Donald, they level out that despite the fact that you’re a really sensible man, this can be a very dumb factor to do,” Trudeau stated.

President Trump swiftly responded by threatening to impose much more tariffs on Canada.
“Please clarify to Governor Trudeau, of Canada, that when he places on a Retaliatory Tariff on the U.S., our Reciprocal Tariff will instantly improve by a like quantity!” Trump stated on Fact Social.
