Trump and Zelenskyy: ‘This is not a television show’

Re: “How the Trump-Zelenskyy Oval Office meeting spiraled into chaos” (March 2, Nation & World):

I used to be horrified by President Donald Trump’s comment, as quoted within the article by The Related Press, by which he (apparently gleefully) declared, “That is going to be nice tv” shortly earlier than the Oval Workplace assembly with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ended.

That is what he cares about?

Clearly, his phrases and actions over the previous few weeks present that he thinks he’s nonetheless on actuality TV, yelling “You’re fired!” at everybody in sight, utterly oblivious to the truth that now his phrases and actions have devastating penalties to actual individuals, this nation and the world.

When will the Republicans in energy come to phrases with the true harm Trump is inflicting and stand as much as him? This isn’t a tv present.
