    Beijing calls on the US to cease ‘harmful strikes’ that ‘undermine peace and stability’ within the Taiwan Strait.

    China has warned the USA of “enjoying with hearth” after Washington introduced extra military aid and sales to Taiwan.

    A press release from the Chinese language Ministry of International Affairs on Sunday urged the US to cease its “harmful strikes that undermine peace and stability within the Taiwan Strait”.

    China, which has ramped up political and navy strain on Taiwan in recent times, has repeatedly known as for the US to stop sending arms and help to Taiwan, which Beijing claims as a part of its territory.

    The US doesn’t formally recognise Taiwan diplomatically, however it’s the self-ruled island’s strategic ally and largest provider of weapons.
