    Palestinian families sue US government over military aid to Israel

    Earlier this month, rights group Amnesty Worldwide accused Israel of “committing genocide” in opposition to Palestinians in Gaza for the reason that begin of the battle.

    In November, the Worldwide Legal Court docket issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former protection minister Yoav Gallant on suspicion of crimes in opposition to humanity and battle crimes. 

    Israel’s authorities vehemently denies the allegations, and has appealed the warrants.

    Ahmed Moor, a plaintiff in Tuesday’s lawsuit, mentioned seven of his relations in Gaza had been residing “below a continuing concern of bombardment,” and that one had been killed.

    “My relations are folks identical to you and me, and their lives have been destroyed by American weapons in direct violation of American legislation,” he mentioned. 

    “My household’s residing a nightmare”.
