    Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris known as the choice to shut the embassy ‘deeply regrettable’

    Israel says it’ll shut its embassy in Eire, citing Dublin’s recognition of a Palestinian state and help for South Africa’s genocide case against Israel on the Worldwide Courtroom of Justice (ICJ) for its actions in Gaza.

    “The choice to shut Israel’s embassy in Dublin was made in mild of the intense anti-Israel insurance policies of the Irish authorities,” Israeli Overseas Minister Gideon Saar stated in a press release on Sunday.

    “Eire has crossed each purple line in its relations with Israel. Israel will make investments its sources in advancing bilateral relations with international locations worldwide, prioritising those who align with Israel’s pursuits and values,” Sa’ar added.

    The Irish Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Simon Harris condemned Israel’s determination, calling it “deeply regrettable”.

    “I totally reject the assertion that Eire is anti-Israel. Eire is pro-peace, pro-human rights, and pro-international regulation,” Harris added. “Eire desires a two-state answer and for Israel and Palestine to stay in peace and safety. Eire will all the time communicate up for human rights and worldwide regulation. Nothing will distract that.”
