    White House defends Biden’s Hunter pardon as criticism mounts

    WASHINGTON: The White Home mentioned on Monday (Dec 2) that President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter partially due to concern his political opponents would proceed to persecute the youthful Biden sooner or later, as a rising refrain of Democrats and Republicans criticised his decision.

    Biden, a Democrat whose time period ends on Jan 20 when Republican President-elect Donald Trump takes workplace, signed an unconditional pardon for Hunter Biden on Sunday and mentioned he believed his son had been selectively prosecuted and focused unfairly by the president’s political opponents.

    Biden mentioned up to now that he wouldn’t pardon his son, together with to ABC Information in June when he was requested if he would rule out a pardon, and replied “sure.”
