    French minister to shun COP29 after jabs from Azerbaijan

    PARIS: France’s Surroundings Minister Agnes Pannier-Runacher will avoid the COP29 international local weather change convention in Baku after “unacceptable” assaults by Azerbaijan’s president Ilham Aliyev, she stated Wednesday (Nov 13).

    Aliyev had accused France of “crimes” and “human rights violations” in abroad territories together with New Caledonia within the south Pacific, the place 13 folks have been killed this 12 months in protests that broke out in Might over a contested voting reform.
