Arkansas and Auburn had 50 seconds remaining within the first half Saturday and neither group appeared to need the ball.

Each groups traded interceptions over the course of 26 seconds of sport time. Two picks had been thrown by Auburn and one by Arkansas.

Down 7-0 and seeking to put factors on the board earlier than heading into the locker room, Auburn quarterback Hank Brown tried to get the ball on a fast out-route to his receiver on the correct sideline.

Defensive again Jayden Johnson jumped the route and snagged it out of the air, returning the ball 10 yards and setting Arkansas up for a simple half-ending subject purpose.

Then on the very subsequent play, Arkansas quarterback Taylen Inexperienced had a brief cross tipped up within the air by his receiver to Auburn’s Sylvester Smith who returned it 33 yards to close mid-field.

Two performs later, Brown threw a ball throughout the center the place it was tipped twice to Arkansas’ TJ Metcalf on the reverse eight-yard line.

The Razorbacks then ended the cycle of turnovers and knelt out the primary half. Since Arkansas’ early landing within the first quarter, each of the ensuing nine drives for each groups led to a punt or turnover (sans the kneel-down).

Brown, a freshman, was benched to start out the second half and changed by senior Payton Thorne who, sarcastically, Brown had supplanted as the starter in Week 3.

According to ESPN, by halfway via the third quarter, each groups had mixed for simply 16 completions — 5 of them interceptions.

By the end of the game, which Arkansas gained 24-14, the groups totaled 32 completions and 6 interceptions.
