The decision, launched by Republican Georgia Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter, aimed to denounce the riots that focused federal ICE brokers, broken property, and prompted the deployment of the Nationwide Guard and U.S. Marines.

Out of the 212 Home Democrats, 195 voted towards the measure on Friday, with 75 breaking ranks to assist it alongside Republicans.
