I heard interim Chief Shon Barnes’ feedback in a different way than Sakara Remmu. I heard Chief Barnes say that he would defend the residents of Seattle, that he would defend our proper to freedom of speech.
I felt reassured that the Seattle Police Division is on our facet, the facet of residents of Seattle. We want the SPD on our facet in these turbulent occasions. We do have the ability to withstand navy occupation. It’s the voice of the individuals supporting democracy.
