American Federation of Academics (AFT) President Randi Weingarten is departing the Democratic Nationwide Committee (DNC), citing disagreements with DNC Chair Ken Martin.
Weingarten instructed Martin in a letter dated June 5 and obtained by The Hill on Sunday that she was declining to be reappointed as an at-large member of the committee.
