Peace be with you! Dearest brothers and sisters, this was the primary greeting of the risen Christ, the great shepherd who gave his life for the flock of God. I, too, would really like this greeting of peace to enter your hearts, to achieve your households and all folks, wherever they’re; and all of the peoples, and all of the earth: Peace be with you.

That is the peace of the risen Christ, a disarming and humble and preserving peace. It comes from God. God, who loves all of us, with none limits or situations. Allow us to maintain in our ears the weak however all the time courageous voice of Pope Francis, who blessed Rome — the Pope who blessed Rome and the world that day on the morning of Easter.

Permit me to proceed that very same blessing. God loves us, all of us, evil won’t prevail. We’re all within the palms of God. With out concern, united, hand in hand with God and amongst ourselves, we are going to go ahead. We’re disciples of Christ, Christ goes earlier than us, and the world wants his mild. Humanity wants him like a bridge to achieve God and his love. You assist us to construct bridges with dialogue and encounter so we are able to all be one folks all the time in peace.

    Thanks, Pope Francis!

Thanks to my Cardinal brothers who selected me to be the successor of Peter and to stroll along with you as a united church looking all collectively for peace and justice, working collectively as ladies and men, devoted to Jesus Christ with out concern, proclaiming Christ, to be missionaries, devoted to the Gospel.

I’m a son of Saint Augustine, an Augustinian. He mentioned, “With you I’m a Christian, for you a bishop.” So might all of us stroll collectively towards that homeland that God has ready for us.

To the church of Rome, a particular greeting: Now we have to look collectively the way to be a missionary church, constructing bridges, dialogue, all the time open to receiving with open arms for everybody, like this sq., open to all, to all who want our charity, our presence, dialogue, love.

And for those who permit me additionally, a phrase, a greeting to all these and in a specific solution to my expensive diocese of Chiclayo, in Peru, the place a devoted folks has accompanied its bishop, has shared its religion and has given a lot, a lot to proceed being a devoted church of Jesus Christ.

To all you brothers and sisters of Rome, Italy, of all of the world, we wish to be a synodal church, strolling and all the time searching for peace, charity, closeness, particularly to those that are struggling.

In the present day is the day of the Supplication to Our Girl of Pompeii.

Our blessed Mom Mary all the time desires to stroll with us, be near us, she all the time desires to assist us along with her intercession and her love. So allow us to pray collectively for this mission, and for all the church and for peace on the planet.

We ask for this particular grace from Mary, our mom.
