The O’Keefe Media Group launched undercover video of Jonathan Ferrer, the HR Director for Summit Public Faculties, a constitution community working in California and Washington, admitting to race-based hiring.
Ferrer admitted to violating Title VII, California FEHA (prohibits discrimination) and faculty coverage.
“You get offered with, on equal deserves, like a white particular person or a black particular person or no matter. Yeah, we’re going with the black particular person,” Ferrer instructed the undercover OMG reporter.
“At any time when there’s a certified candidate and so they occur to determine in another way or current in another way, we’re most likely going with that particular person… That’s what DEI is all about,” Ferrer instructed the undercover journalist.
“Now we have one trans instructor in our district, and, so, I believe it’s simply culturally, we simply naturally search for these of us,” he stated.
When requested if Summit Public Faculties would ever rent a Trump supporter, Ferrer stated, “I don’t assume we’d rent them.”
“We do have DEI questions constructed into our choice course of,” Ferrer stated. “Now we have a rubric… if they are saying any of this stuff, this isn’t somebody who’s answering the query the best way we’re aligned to reply the query.”
