Mark Carney Sworn In as Canada’s 24th Prime Minister

I, Mark Carney, do swear that I might be trustworthy and bear true allegiance to His Majesty King Charles III, King of Canada, his heirs and successors. I’ll in all issues to be handled, debated and resolved in Privy Council faithfully, actually and really declare my thoughts and my opinion. I shall preserve secret all issues dedicated and revealed to me on this capability, or that shall be secretly handled of in council. Typically, in all issues I shall do as a trustworthy and true servant should do for His Majesty. I, Mark Carney, do solemnly and sincerely promise and swear that I’ll really and faithfully, and to the most effective of my ability and data, execute the powers and belief reposed in me as prime minister.
